Like in the aforementioned image, there is a held block as well as a preview of the next 6 blocks to be used. The second image demonstrates the single-player aspect of Tetris DS. The bottom screen features an aesthetically-pleasing Mario-themed backdrop and two features to the left of your own well: a Tetris block being "held" and a ghost item to use via the 'X' button. You can see in detail what each player is doing - even their pieces as they drop, apparently. Each well has an associated name, and player 2 even has his own icon. The top screen shows 10 different Tetris wells (with yours being the first listed).
